I am a member of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy. I have a MSc in psychotherapy, in the humanistic field. I am also a qualified senior counsellor in Person Centred Counselling and registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.

I use traditional methods of person-centred counselling, a cognitive behavioural approach and also transactional analysis. See page 4 for further information.

In 1994 I came to Spain and set up a private practice in Altea. I work with English speaking doctors in Calpe and Javea and I have referrals from other doctors in the area.

I work with a wide range of ages, from 7-80, covering a wide range of issues including:

3. Eating problems
4. Addictions
5. Bereavement
6. Relationship problems
7. Abuse and trauma from childhood
8. Post-traumatic stress disorder following accidents and needing therapy

Before coming to the Costa Blanca I worked in the following:

• Private clinic in Oxfordshire working with individuals couples families children
• Consultant therapist - Health, Education, Social Services Depts & USA Airbase
• Qualified social worker specializing in family work and child abuse
• Qualified psychiatric social worker specializing in diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders

I am a member of various professional bodies in the United Kingdom, in Europe and in the USA and adhere to the professional practice and code of ethics as laid down by these associations.
